Steven Perring is a frequent news contributor to YSTV, focusing in particular on historical events and capturing the essence of the University and student opinions on main events. He often acts as historical correspondent giving much needed grounding for a number of reports, including on the History of Roses, the history behind Remembrance Day, and his recent reports recreating archived footage of York.
