Huddersfield

The University of Huddersfield Brass Band perform at the UniBrass Trophy championship, held at the Harrogate International Centre on February 18th 2017. They came third in the contest. Featuring: Blackbird Special (Dirty Dozen Brass Band, arr. Reid Gilje) The Golden Bird (Aurelia) (Samuel Wesley, arr. Thomas Wynn) Brown Bird Singing (Haydn Wood) Nightingale Dances (Matthew Hall) Brown Bird Singing featured a vocal solo from Sophie Cameron. Huddersfield won the best march prize for The Golden Bird, and were conducted by Jonathan Beatty.
