Every year, students at the University of York collectively decide who is going to lead their Union and improve the lives of students where it matters most. As always, YSTV are bringing you extensive coverage of election season, kicking off with our long-running 60 Second Manifestos for each and every candidate, and continuing with live-streams leading up to our big show on results night itself!

60 Second Manifestos
A staple of YSTV's elections coverage since at least as early as 2003, this year we've opened up 60 second manifestos to candidates for all positions! Below you can see a 60 second rundown of every candidate's campaign, and make an informed decision before casting your vote! Candidate Debate Night
This is the main event of Hustings Week come along to see this year’s Sabbatical Officer candidates battle it out to convince you who should become our leaders! They will be answering questions about the roles they are running for and their manifestos posed to them by a chairperson and the audience. Keep an eye out for the event to see the running order closer to the time!
Election Results Night
It’s the big one. The event we’ve all been waiting for which you don’t want to miss. Join us to discover the results of weeks of hard campaigning and to celebrate as we find out who has won the YUSU elections! With student media hosting the live results and Lounge Bar providing refreshments, the atmosphere is going to be great and the official afterparty will be at TimeWarp in D-Bar, make sure you don’t miss out!
