University Radio York live at the other end of the bridge to YSTV, and were founded the year after us in 1968.
Their relationship to YSTV has varied wildly over the years, from outright on-air cynicism to real, productive co-operation over areas such as publicity and technical activities, often at the same time.
In 2024, when relations were especially positive, the two societies ran a Show Swap with a number of URY shows airing one-off specials on YSTV (and vice versa).
